Amazon S3 outage and AWS status

Amazon S3 being the Simple Storage Service another words the three S’s is a service that allows users to gain access to a very secure object storage facility. But all it takes to cause a little mayhem is an Amazon A3 outage or AWS downtime, and these kinds of problems do happen from time-to-time. Here you can check out if others are having an Amazon S3 outage as well as checking up on the AWS status.

The very easy to use Amazon S3 and is a great platform for IT teams and developers the kind of storage they need. They can store as well as retrieve data from anywhere online, to make things even more easy is the pay only for the storage you decide to use, no minimum fee or set up costs at all.

You can either use Amazon S3 with other AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS), Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and of course Amazon Glacier, or if you prefer just use it on its own.

    I’m also seeing 500 type errors for S3 console and account launch page. CloudWatch notified me of my S3 based static websites being down about 5 minutes ago.

    They seem surprisingly relaxed about it, but I get “errorCode” : “InternalError” when I connect to the console, and our s3-based website is dsemi-dead (the EC2 servers are working fine, but they can’t pull any data off s3)

    Update at 11:35 AM PST: We have now repaired the ability to update the
    service health dashboard. The service updates are below. We continue to
    experience high error rates with S3 in US-EAST-1, which is impacting
    various AWS services. We are working hard at repairing S3, believe we
    understand root cause, and are working on implementing what we believe
    will remediate the issue.

    I just like to come here to vent my anger at the Amazon service i am getting at the moment. Even though Amazon never look here it is a good place to be to get answers or some sort of feed back from other users., My problem is simple, the API Feeds are rubbish.
